The cows that supply the milk for Lannov Complete formula roam free on pastures for on average 300 days per year, eating grass the way nature intended They are only snuggled up inside for protection during the coldest days of winter but our dedicated farmers continue to feed them grass.
They are milked just twice per day and the milk is non GMO as well as growth Hormone free. Our grass fed cows live healthy and happy lives because it's the right thing to do - and we believe that is what is right for your baby.
The secret to our milk starts with the pure soil which is swept by the clean and pure Atlantic rain that provides natural irrigation.As it's on this soil the cleanest grass is grown.Lannov cows roam free for on average 300 days per year breathing our pure air, eating clean grass and drinking our naturally clean water, living off the earth as nature intended. Our cows are milked just 2 times per day leaving them the rest of their day to enjoy a happy pure life in the field. Apart from making sure that the cows are happy and healthy we also ensure quality is controlled every step of the way. The farms that produce the milk for our product adhere to the Sustainable Dairy Assurance Scheme (SDAS) which is the only national dairy scheme of its kind anywhere in the world. It sets out requirements for best practice on Irish dairy farms in animal health and welfare, land management, biosecurity, safe farming practices and the production of safe milk. It also provides a framework for measuring the continuous improvement of each participating farmer, recording and monitoring sustainability credentials at farm level.
Located in the beautiful south west of Ireland, the cows
that make the milk for our formula are all located within
200km of where our formula is made. This means
that the milk is picked up daily ensuring freshness
and premium quality.
Ireland's dairy industry has one of the worlds most accurate traceability programmes which means we can follow the movements of every cow from the day it is born to the end of its life and everything in between. That's how Lannov can trace each batch of milk back to the farmland from where the liquid milk was produced. We also control every step of the supply chain from milk production to milk collection and milk processing. The implementation of this quality standard is audited by an independent board which actively monitors compliance, providing full confidence in the quality of every product.
